FAQ

Not everything is clear when living in a community that is governed by an owners association. We have come up with a list of questions that are typically asked of the Business Manager or Board Members and provided answers below.

How often does the board meet to discuss HOA matters?

Monthly board meetings occur every second Monday of the month. They are held at the Pavilion from 6PM-7PM. Some smaller tasks or topics that come up in between meetings are discussed via email but all activities are recapped at the meeting.

How do I report a violation or problem in the community?

Number 1- Take a picture or video of what you see.
Number 2- Contact the Business Manager's office or complete the online form

Please note that anyone who reports information to the management office, will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed

My roof needs to be replaced on my home. Is this something that needs to be approved beforehand?

Yes! If you are replacing more than a 1/4 of your roof then you are materially changing the appearance of the exterior. A modification request will need to be submitted to the Business Manager's office. The Architectural Review Committee will then review the information provided and provide an answer within 15 days.

If you are repairing a portion of the roof or fixing the vents, these are considered repairing your property and DO NOT require a modification to be submitted ahead of time. When in doubt, call the Business Manager!

Am I required to obtain permission before I build a home?

Yes! Any time that you make a change to the land (clearing, foundation installation, septic, etc) a modification request is needed to be submitted to the Business Manager's office. The Architectural Review Committee will then review the information provided and provide an answer within 15 days.

I never use the common areas, do I still need to pay my HOA dues?

Yes! The moment you signed your deed and took legal ownership, you agreed to abide by the Associations contractual legal documents. Regardless of whether you use the pool, pavilion or any other common area elements, you are part of the Association and therefore subject to annual assessments.
